Sui Dhaaga: Made in India launches logo on National Handloom day,  featuring 15 different art forms

Mumbai: In an effort to have fun the wealthy and numerous handicrafts of India, the staff of upcoming Bollywood movie Sui Dhaaga – Made In India reached out to native artisans and craftsmen from throughout the nation to create the emblem of the movie of their distinctive stitching kinds.

The emblem’s launch on 7 August coincides with the Nationwide Handloom Day.

“We reached out to 15 uniquely expert artists/artist teams who helped us design our movie brand. It has been an exhaustive and most rewarding expertise for all of us at Yash Raj Movies (YRF),” Manan Mehta, Vice President – Advertising and Merchandising, YRF, mentioned in a press release.

It took the staff six months to plan, analysis and execute the movie’s brand in 15 totally different kinds, together with in hand needlework types of Kashida and Sozni from Kashmir, vibrant Phulkari from Punjab, the intricate thread work kinds Rabari and Mochi Bharat from Gujarat, Phool Patti from Uttar Pradesh and Zardozi work from Lucknow.

From the east, the movie’s brand has been made in Pipli model from Odisha and handloom work from Assam, Kantha sew work from West Bengal.

The makers hope Sui Dhaaga creates consciousness of India’s tradition amongst immediately’s youth.

Starring Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma, the movie is about discovering love and respect by way of self-reliance. Its plot is impressed by Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy and takes a leaf out of the Make In India marketing campaign.

Directed by Sharat Kataria and produced by Maneesh Sharma, Sui Dhaaga will launch on 28 September.
