Spotify fires back at Apple, says ‘every monopolist will suggest they’ve done nothing wrong’
Yesterday morning, Apple responded to Spotify’s aggressive PR marketing campaign relating to its App Store insurance policies. Now, Spotify has fired again at Apple but once more, this time calling the corporate a “monopolist” and saying its insurance policies damage customers and competitors.

On Wednesday, Spotify filed a complaint with the European Commission about Apple and its App Store insurance policies. Spotify says that Apple provides itself “an unfair advantage at every turn,” and takes challenge with the 30 % lower Apple takes of digital items offered through iOS apps.

To promote its claims about Apple, Spotify launched a whole web site TimeToPlayFair.com, the place it lays out its argument.

Meanwhile, on Friday morning, Apple publicly responded to Spotify’s claims in a publish on its Newsroom web site. Apple says Spotify is partaking in “misleading rhetoric” and hiding the truth that most of its income from promoting and service offers, of which Apple takes no lower in any respect.
