Noah Centineo, To All The Boys I've Loved Before's breakout star, in talks to play He-Man in Masters of the Universe
Noah Centineo, the breakout star of 2018 who gained reputation in a single day after starring in two back-to-back Netflix romantic comedies To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and Sierra Burgess Is a Loser, is at the moment in negotiations to play He-Man within the Masters of the Universe reboot, reports Variety.
Brothers Adam and Aaron Nee, who’ve penned the screenplay together with Iron Man writers Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, can be steering the reboot.
Based on Mattel’s standard toy line, which even spawned a profitable TV sequence and a movie, Masters of the Universe will chronicle the first battle between Prince Adam of Eternia aka warrior He-Man and the evil sorcerer Skeletor. In the 1987 movie with the identical title, Dolph Lundgren starred because the titular character and Frank Langella taking part in the villainous Skeletor.
Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch of Escape Artists’ are financing the film. David S Goyer, who wrote a earlier draft of the screenplay, can be government producing.
