If sources are to be believed, it was quite a private affair for Momoa and Bonet, who got secretly married in November 2007. “Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet had an official wedding a few weeks ago at their house in Topanga, California,” one insider revealed. “Apparently they weren’t officially married until then! They said they ‘made it official,’” said a source quoted by US Weekly.

The couple have two children, Lola, 10, and Nakoa-Wolf, 8. Sources also confirmed that the couple purchased a marriage license from the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s office on 2 October just a few weeks before they made it official.

Revealed by a source on Facebook, the party remained quite a dazzling affair. “While Momoa reportedly wore an unbuttoned white shirt and a lei and styled his long locks into a man bun, Bonet looked beautiful,” the source said.

The Cosby Show actress’ daughter Zoë Kravitz from her former husband Lenny Kravitz was spotted attending the wedding. The newly married couple Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender were also present at the party. The guest list also had rock climber Chris Sharma and several of other Momoa’s costars. “He stays close with the people he works with on movies and is a really nice guy. It was a big party and people came from out of town to attend,” sources told US Weekly. It was also reported that some of the guests performed a traditional Māori haka dance for the bride.
