Game of Thrones Season 7 seems to be at the mercy of hackers. As promised by the hackers, they have leaked the GoT S07E05 called ‘Eastwatch.‘ HBO the maker of the series is facing a real threat as the hackers have promised to release all the remaining episodes of GoT Season 7.
Hackers today leaked the Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 5 Eastwatch. This is in continuation to the earlier leak of Episode 4, Spoils of War. Even as the HBO top honchos were filing DMCA to contain further leaks of Game of Thrones scripts, another set of hackers got their hands on GoT S07E04 Spoils of War by hacking the Star TV India’s App called Hotstar.
Cyber security pundits are already claiming the HBO hack to be the biggest scandal hitting Hollywood after the infamous Sony Pictures data breach of 2014 in which the hackers got their hands on internal memos and emails of Sony Pictures as well as prints of several Sony releases. In fact, the hack was so severe that Sony reportedly shifted to English era typewriters for communications.
HBO has already confirmed that unknown hackers had successfully hacked into its servers and stolen vital files pertaining to scripts of its various TV shows including GoT Season 7 and other several shows. The hackers on their part have claimed that they have access to an HBO treasure trove of 1.35 TB which includes office memos and internal emails.
The latest leak came to light when a Redittor leaked Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 5 ‘Eastwatch’ script in the form of a 20-page PDF file. The leaked script is titled “CONFIDENTIAL,” just like previous leaks. It also bears the “HBO Leak” and “HBO is Falling” watermark.
The leaked script of GoT S07E04 Eastwatch also mentions that it’s a preliminary outline for production lines however, hardcore Game of Thrones fans would lap up the script. In fact, at the time of writing this article, the Reddit thread has already become most read thread. The thread also has inputs from other Redditors who have given information of upcoming Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 and 7.
Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 5 Eastwatch will be aired on Sunday 13th and HBO must be praying to the old gods and the new gods that some other hacker doesn’t release the entire episode like Episode 4 “Spoils of War.
The hackers have reportedly asked a $6 million ransom for not outing the remaining scripts of the ongoing Season 7 of Game of Thrones. In a five-minute ransom video from “Mr. Smith” to HBO CEO Richard Plepler, the hackers gave the message that the network has three days to pay up as the group dumped a fresh batch of stolen HBO files online Monday.
The HBO hackers claimed that the HBO officials offered them $250,000 as “bug bounty reward” instead of $6 million they asked for. The hackers then religiously dumped the GoT Season 7 Episode 5 onto the Internet.

After scripts, now hackers leak the Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 4 ahead of its Sunday schedule
HBO [email protected]@ked!!! Hackers leaked upcoming Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 4 “Spoils of War” ahead of its Sunday schedule
After leaking the script of GoT S07E04 “Spoils of War” the hackers today released the entire episode of the same on a Google Drive and a small video streaming website called vid.me. While HBO has been running helter skelter to contain the aftermath of the hack attack which apparently took place last week, the hacker(s) are making merry by leaking scripts and episodes.
We had reported yesterday that the hackers uploaded the GoT Season 7 Episode 4 “Spoils of War” on their website and which was later carried by many websites. HBO tried to contain the damage by issuing DMCAs to nearly a dozen websites including one to Google but the merry sharing of the leaked script continued.
Today, a Reddit user going by the handle of zmax87 has leaked Episode number 4 from Game of Thrones’s season 7 on Google Drive and vid.me, a video streaming website. The episode was uploaded about an hour ago and since then it has already gone viral. Mind you, the GoT Season 7 Episode 4 Spoils of War is due to be aired only on Sunday 6th August on HBO and its affiliated networks.
Redditors commenting on the above thread confirmed that they had watched the entire GoT S07E04 which is of 52 minutes duration and it was legit. They noted that It is watermarked with “For Internal Viewing Only” as well as “(C) 2011 – Star India Pvt Ltd”. The only issue the Redditors had was that the pirated version uploaded on vid.me was not in HD resolution which is surprising as the hackers may have had access to the screener versions on HBO servers.
Another thing to be noted is that it is not clear whether zmax87 (Reddit OP) is the hacker who hacked HBO servers. Nevertheless; it’s a massive blow to HBO’s top honchos promise to contain piracy ahead of Games of Thrones release. Readers may remember that hackers had similarly managed to gain access and leak screener versions of several episodes of Game of Thrones Season 6. However, after the initial leaks, HBO came back strongly and contained leaks so much so that even EZTV the premier TV serial torrent site of that time was not able to leak GoT Season 6 episodes even after they were released. Ditto for The Pirate Bay which also couldn’t leak the Season 6 episodes for download.
At the time of publishing this article; the Leaked Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 4 “Spoils of War” is available to watch online on Vid.me but removed from Google Drive shared by zmax87. The leaked episode is also available on mywatchseries.to and here. The only thing that readers should note that the print quality of the leaked episode is pretty shoddy and it would be worthwhile to wait until Sunday when HBO airs the original episode. Also kindly be careful of malware laden websites which may claim to have the leaked GoT episode.
As promised hackers leak Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 4 “Spoils of War” script
We had reported two days ago that unknown hackers had managed to hack into HBO servers and managed to steal 1.5 TB of data which included scripts of top HBO serials including Game of Thrones Season 7, Ballers and Room 104 TV show scripts.
In an email to all media houses, the hackers had promised to leak GoT Season 7 episode scripts in due time. Today, the hackers kept their promise and leaked the upcoming episode 4 of GoT Season 7. The leaked script called “Spoils of War” is the fourth installment of the current hugely popular Game of Thrones season 7.
To counter the leak, HBO officials have been burning midnight oil by sending a flurry of DMCA takedown notices. Interestingly, HBO has even sent one DMCA notice to Google which was reported by Hollywood gossip website, Variety.
The hackers have stated that they have stolen a treasure chest of scripts from HBO servers. The treasure trove contains full episodes of Ballers (season 3, episodes 1-3), Barry (season 1, episodes 1-2), Room 104(season 1, episodes 2-3), and Insecure (season 2, episode 2). Some of these episodes have already been broadcast, but some are brand new (Barry doesn’t officially air until 2018, for example).
Other than the HBO TV show episodes, the hackers have also managed to access “thousands” of internal company documents including personally identifiable data and passwords of HBO Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications Jeff Cusson’s office.
Despite filing multiple DMCAs, a short search on Google for “Spoils of War” will bring up at least 25 websites detailing the entire episode. If you are a TV addict and don’t want your upcoming Sunday’s to be spoiled, it is suggested that you shouldn’t read the episode. For those who care less about spoiler alerts, Googling for GoT S07E04 Spoils of War will give you a short script, summary, and homemade video storyboard.
As hackers have promised more leaks in upcoming days, we will keep reporting any GoT Season 7 episode leaks as they happen.
Entire ‘Game Of Thrones Season 7’ Leaked online? HBO Confirms It Has Been hacked
HBO Hacked, Hackers Leak The Entire Script of Game of Thrones Season 7. Hackers say they have stolen 1.5TB Data From HBO including GoT Season 7 script
Your favorite TV show has been hacked and leaked. Yes, hackers today leaked the Game of Thrones Season 7 episodes. In what could be the biggest scandal hitting Hollywood after the infamous Sony Pictures data breach of 2014, HBO has confirmed that unknown hackers had successfully hacked into its servers and stolen vital files pertaining to scripts of its various TV shows including GoT Season 7.
The hacker then sent an email to the press informing that they have been successful in stealing about 1.5 terabytes of data from HBO servers. On Monday, the top cable service company in US and many parts of the world confirmed the hack, although it is not saying yet what information, or how much, has been taken.
HBO in a statement issued just minutes ago said, “HBO recently experienced a cyber incident, which resulted in the compromise of proprietary information. We immediately began investigating the incident and are working with law enforcement and outside cyber security firms. Data protection is a top priority at HBO, and we take seriously our responsibility to protect the data we hold.”
The hackers managed to lay their hands on the top HBO serial, Game of Thrones Season 7 as well as upcoming episodes from multiple series—including Ballers and Room 104. The hackers have promised to release all the stolen material in public domain soon.
The hacker’s e-mail read as follows:
Hi to all mankind. The greatest leak of cyber space era is happening. What’s its name? Oh I forget to tell. Its HBO and Game of Thrones……!!!!!! You are lucky to be the first pioneers to witness and download the leak. Enjoy it & spread the words. Whoever spreads well, we will have an interview with him. . . HBO is falling. Most websites dismissed the email as a prank. However, when the upcoming episode of Game of Thrones season 7 was leaked online, it seemed that hackers had indeed access to the HBO servers. The hackers email also contained email id and telephone number of HBO Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications Jeff Cusson’s office.
The hackers used Cusson email id to open a Twitter account (now suspended) and spread the information about the Game of Thrones leak. The GoT leaks confirm that HBO severely lacks appropriate cyber defense mechanism as this hack happened despite HBO’s decision of not sending any screener versions to any members of press. In fact, they had asked the GoT cast to take extra security measures like enabling 2FA for their email accounts as well as iCloud accounts.
This is a developing story and we will keep you updated.
