Delhi court docket acquits Arvind Kejriwal in felony defamation swimsuit filed by Sheila Dikshit citing lack of proof in opposition to AAP chief


New Delhi: A Delhi court docket on Monday acquitted Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a felony defamation case filed by a former aide of Congress chief Sheila Dikshit.

Extra Chief Metropolitan Justice of the Peace Samar Vishal granted reduction to the Aam Aadmi Social gathering (AAP) chief citing lack of proof in opposition to him.

The AAP chief was accused by Dikshit’s then political secretary Pawan Khera alleging remarks in opposition to Dikshit throughout energy tariff hike protests in October 2012.
