Darren Criss to star in Ryan Murphy’s new Netflix sequence Hollywood

Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actor Darren Criss took to Instagram to disclose that he’s set to star in creator Ryan Murphy’s upcoming drama titled Hollywood which was given a straight-to-series order by Netflix. Criss additionally introduced that he can be serving as an government producer alongside Murphy.

This challenge will mark the fourth collaboration between Criss and Murphy, who’ve labored on the musical drama sequence Glee, American Horror Story: Hotel and The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story with the latter incomes Criss an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Limited Series.

Hollywood is co-created by Murphy and Ian Brennan and is being described as “a love letter to the Golden Age of Tinseltown.” The sequence may even star Two-time Grammy winner Patti LuPone, Holland Taylor (The Practice), Jeremy Pope (Ain’t Too Proud), Dylan McDermott (American Horror Story), Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory). and Joe Mantello (Wicked).

The sequence is the latest addition to Ryan Murphy’s long-list of ongoing tasks that he’s at the moment creating and producing for Netflix as a part of his large multi-year deal  with the streaming service. These tasks embrace the darkish comedy sequence The PoliticianRatched, a prequel to One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest starring Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story) as a youthful model of the merciless Nurse Ratched; and the movie adaptation of hit Broadway musical The Prom that includes a star-studded forged led by Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman; and five different projects that was not too long ago introduced.
