Cabinet to hold next Punjab Assembly session on 24 August, state's governor to preside over session

Chandigarh: The Cupboard has determined to summon the following session of the Punjab Meeting from 24 August to 28 August.

A call to this impact was taken at a gathering of the Punjab Cupboard chaired by Chief Minister Amarinder Singh in Chandigarh on Thursday.

With the Cupboard resolution, the Punjab Governor has been authorised to convene the fifth session of the 15th Punjab Vidhan Sabha.

A spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Workplace mentioned the session would begin on 24 August within the afternoon with obituary references.

Legislative Enterprise could be transacted in each, the morning and night classes on 27 August.

The home would adjourn sine-die after the proposed legislative enterprise on 28 August, the spokesperson mentioned.
