Congress hits back at BJP's criticism of Manmohan Singh, says 'arrogant' Narendra Modi doesn't lead, he dictates

New Delhi: Taking robust objection to BJP’s criticism of former prime minister Manmohan Singh, the Congress on Saturday hit again at Prime Minister Narendra Modi calling him smug and one who had no respect for democracy.

Throughout the BJP’s Nationwide Government assembly in New Delhi, social gathering president Amit Shah attacked Singh saying “Manmohan Singh follows his social gathering, whereas Modi leads”.

Congress chief Anand Sharma stated Singh was much better prime minister than Modi is.

“We take robust objection to the sort of language that has been utilized by BJP in opposition to Singh,” Sharma stated.

“He (Singh) was much better prime minister than Modi. The distinction is that Manmohan Singh had humility, decency and beauty, he upheld the dignity of his workplace. It’s the reverse in case of Modi.

“He’s smug and would not behave as a major minister who respects parliamentary democracy. He isn’t main, he’s dictating. He would not have the capability to hear and even reply to bona fide questions,” stated Sharma.

“The Modi authorities has been a failure on all fronts. Right now what is going on the nation is matter of disgrace, issues like mob-lynchings, rapes, an surroundings of concern and violence.

“All these ought to have been mirrored within the nationwide government. The accountability is theirs concerning the non- efficiency and dangerous efficiency of the federal government. They can’t escape the accountability by simply criticising the Congress,” stated Sharma.
